Volunteer With Us
At the Epps Agricultural Innovation Foundation, volunteers are more than helpers — they are partners in transforming how youth learn, grow, and lead. Whether you enjoy gardening, teaching, technology, or community service, your time and energy directly support young people stepping into the future of agriculture and AI.
Why Volunteer?
Volunteering with us means creating real, visible impact.
You help:
• Introduce youth to hands-on agriculture and cutting‑edge technology
• Expand local food access and support healthier families • Strengthen community relationships between schools, farmers, and partners
• Bring your own skills and experiences into a space where they truly matter
• Become part of a mission-driven team focused on innovation and empowerment
When you volunteer, you’re not just giving time — you’re shaping futures.
01
Garden & Farm Support
Help youth learn through action. Volunteers assist with planting, harvesting, composting, watering, building raised beds, preparing soil, and maintaining community garden spaces. You help create the hands-on environments where students learn to grow food and care for the land.
02
Youth Mentorship & Teaching
Work directly with students during workshops and activities. Volunteers support lessons in agriculture, sustainability, problem‑solving, and technology. You don’t need to be an expert — just patient, encouraging, and ready to guide young learners.
03
Events & Community Outreach
Support community food distributions, youth showcases, family volunteer days, tech demonstrations, school presentations, and partner events. These opportunities are perfect for people who enjoy teamwork, communication, and community engagement.
04
Technology & AI Support
For volunteers with tech interests or skills, help introduce youth to simple coding activities, data collection, drone demonstrations, sensor setup, or digital tools. These roles help make AI approachable, accessible, and exciting for students.
05
Administrative & Program Support
Assist behind the scenes with organizing materials, preparing reports, scheduling programs, managing sign-ins, and supporting logistics. These critical roles help keep our programs smooth, organized, and effective.
Our doors are open to:
• Students
• Parents and families
• Educators
• Farmers and growers
• Technologists and STEM professionals
• Retirees and experienced community members
• Corporate and school volunteer groups No previous experience is required — we provide all necessary training.
We welcome anyone who believes in youth, community, and innovation.
